The Write-Ups

1. Josh Allen — BUF

Allen’s mix of high floor and monster ceiling keep him a tier above the rest going into 2026. The question around Allen this year isn’t about whether he should be the first QB off the board, but rather if taking him in the 2nd or 3rd round is justifiable with strong QB options available 5-6 rounds later.

I’ve decided that the cost is too rich for me this season, but there’s no denying he remains king of the QB landscape in fantasy football.

2. Lamar Jackson — BAL

Last year Lamar took a noticeable step back as a rusher with a career low 5.2 rushing attempts per game. This seems deliberate from both Lamar and the Ravens as they attempt to keep him fresh for the playoffs. He also averaged 5.2 yards per attempt which is his lowest since becoming a full-time starter in 2019.

While I don’t anticipate his rushing to return to 1000 yard per season levels, the regime change in Baltimore should help the Ravens offense become more fantasy friendly in terms of pace and pass attempts.

I am out on Lamar in the 4th round, but if he falls closer to his Underdog ADP in your drafts, he’s still an elite QB option for fantasy teams this season.

3. Drake Maye — NE

Maye took a massive step forward last season finishing second in MVP voting and I still think there’s plenty of room for him to improve. The Patriots will see a tougher schedule than they did last years which should have them in more competitive games throughout the season.

When the going gets tough I expect McDaniels to put his trust in Maye rather than the ground game, letting Maye use both his arm and legs to improve upon his statistical outputs from last season. The addition of AJ Brown and Doubs will only help what was already one of the most effecient passing attacks in the sport in 2025.

I am in at cost across the industry, but would hesitate at Sleepers 4th round draft cost

4. Joe Burrow — CIN

Burrow offers a rare combination of safe floor and high ceiling for a QB who does not provide rushing upside. Upon returning from injury in week 13 last season, he scored 20+ fantasy points in 5 of 6 games including two with 30+ fantasy points.

Even if the Bengals defense takes a slight step forward, the Bengals offense will continue to revolve around Burrow and his two star WR’s

5. Jayden Daniels — WAS

Originally my QB3, Daniels took a hit in the rankings when LT Laremy Tunsil was announced *potentially* out for the season. Adding Stefon Diggs to the Commanders passing attack was a nice addition for Daniels who will look to get back on track after an injury riddled 2025.

Injury is the big risk once again, but when in the lineup Daniels offers an immensely high floor as both a rusher and passer. I am in at cost and expect a big bounce back year from Daniels

6. Jalen Hurts — PHI

After Daniels at QB5, I have a pretty significant tier gap with Hurts leading this next tier of QB's. The X-Factor is his goal-line usage. Hurts is once again live for double-digit rushing TD's which makes him an intriguing option for fantasy managers.

The downside? Hurts set a career low in rush attempts with 105 last season while averaging just 4 YPC. He lost AJ Brown on the perimeter. The offensive line is another year older and already looked like a less effective unit in 2025.

7. Justin Herbert — LAC

Herbert is one of my favorite QB targets at cost for 2026. He finished QB10 last season in a year where he lost both of his starting tackles. Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater are now healthy and Mike McDaniel has taken over as Chargers OC and Play-Caller. I'm projecting a big year for Herbert, Hampton, and the Chargers pass catchers.

8. Dak Prescott — DAL

Pass happy offense with two of the best wide receivers in football on the perimeter. Dak looks poised for another strong statistical season in 2026. In at cost across all platforms.

9. Caleb Williams — CHI

Despite being slightly lower in our rankings compared to Underdog and Sleeper, Caleb Williams is a QB I have been targeting in drafts. He took massive strides as a passer in 2025 and I expect year 2 under Ben Johnson to look even better.

He's a fun bet to make for 2026, especially when stacking him up with Colston Loveland or Burden/Odunze. Strong QB1 option with true Top-3 upside at the position.

10. Jaxson Dart — NYG

In just 12 starts as a rookie Jaxson Dart had 9 rushing touchdowns. Sometimes it's just that simple. Dart's reckless running is fantasy gold, but if he can find a happy medium to stay productive while staying healthy and on the field, everyone will be happy.

In at cost. Prefer pairing Dart with another strong QB2 option like Jordan Love or Matt Stafford.

11. Trevor Lawrence — JAX

Like Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams in Chicago, I expect things only to get better for the Jaguars offense in year 2 of the Liam Coen era. One area I do not expect to see growth is the rushing TD column, 9 of them last season, which helped Lawrence dominate and win people fantasy leagues down the stetch.

12. Bo Nix — DEN

Nix may have ranked higher on this list if it wasn't for his leg injury in last seasons playoff run. With that being said, all things are pointing towards Nix being 100% heading into week 1 with an upgraded WR room now at hisn disposable. I expect the Broncos passing effecieny to improve in 2026 with the addition of Waddle, while Nix's rushing volume takes a minor hit.

13. Patrick Mahomes — KC

The oppurtunity to add Patrick Mahomes this late in fantasy drafts seems like an oppurtunity I cannot pass up, even If I have cooled on him slighlty as the summer progresses. Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy are both back and healthy, Cyrus Allen has camp buzzing, and Eric Bienemy is back as offensive coordinator. Kenneth Walker will also give Mahomes and the Chiefs a run-game threat they haven't had since Kareem Hunt's first stint in KC. There are concerns about the Chiefs passing attack, but the downside no longer outweighs the upside with Mahomes going this late in drafts.

14. Brock Purdy — SF

After missing eight games with a toe injury Purdy played exception football down the stretch in 2025. On paper his supporting cast should be better heading into 2026, but camp injuries to Christian McCaffrey, Mike Evans, and Ricky Pearsall (Out for Season) are already showing cracks in the foundation. Purdy has the oppurtunity to truly smash if the offense can stay healthy, but the vibes in Santa Clara have me staying away from the Sub-station.

15. Jared Goff — DET

Jared Goff has become one of the most reliable QB's in fantasy, throwing 30+ touchdown passes for three consectuive seasons. I expect this trend to continue in 2026, especially with David Montgomery now in Houston.

16. Jordan Love — GB

Josh Jacobs is injured, potentially facing a suspension, and coming off a volume-heavy but ineffecient 2025. If Lafluer is the coach I think he is, I expect the Packers to become much more pass heavy than they have been historically. It's time to let the offense run through Love and his talented trio of pass catchers. I'm expecting a big 2026 for Love.

17. Malik Willis — MIA

The Dolphins are likely going to be a bad offense, but Malik Willis rushing upside makes him one of my favorite QB picks in 2026. Across Willis carrer starts, he has averaged 8.5 fantasy points per game just from rushing production. Draft Malik Willis and start him with confidence week 1 vs the Las Vegas Raiders.

18. Matthew Stafford — LAR

The Rams defense is much improved, Stafford got his MVP, and the Rams season is Super Bowl or bust. This team needs to win ball games, but they don't need to do so while having Stafford putting up gaudy numbers like a year ago. I'm expecting some TD regression for the Rams passing attack in 2026.

19. Kyler Murray — MIN

I am skeptical about the 2026 Vikings offense and am avoiding Kyler Murray at cost. If he sticks around past ADP, there are worse fliers to take just-in-case Kevin O'Connell can help Kyler return to 2020-esque production.

20. Sam Darnold — SEA

The bull-case for 2026 Sam Darnold is that without Kenneth Walker, the Seahawks may have to rely on Darnold and the passing attack to take on additional volume than we saw a year ago. I'm more inclined to the bear-case; that the Seahawks passing attack takes a step-back without Klint Kubiak while the defense remains elite.

21. Tyler Shough — NO

Jordan Tyson's hamstring injury moved Shough back a couple spots in my rankings. If both Tyson and Olave are healthy, Shough has a truly high week-to-week ceiling combined with his rushing capabilities.

22. Baker Mayfield — TB

Mike Evans is now in San Francisco, Emeka Egbuka is dealing with a toe injury, Chris Godwin has not looked the same post-ACL tear, and the Bucaneers have been reluctant to offer Mayfield the extension he is seeking. The vibes in Tampa Bay don't seem great right now and I am staying away at cost.

23. Daniel Jones — IND

The Colts were the story of the NFL for the first half of 2025 and we saw just how important Daniel Jones was to that success after he tore his achilles and the Colts collapsed. Let's see how quickly Jones and this offense can get back to where they left off.

24. Cam Ward — TEN

Cam Ward's performance in preseason week 1 wasn't exactly reassuring, but the hope here is he can start to show some of that talent that made him the #1 pick last season. Hopefully, Brian Daboll can help unlock his talent at some point this season.
