Quick guides to get the most out of Best Ball Maniacs.
Practice against AI opponents with realistic draft behavior.
Head to the Mock Draft Setup page. Choose your league size (8, 10, or 12 teams), number of rounds, and your draft position. Hit "Start Draft" and you are in.
AI opponents draft based on current ADP data with built-in variance, so they behave like real drafters. They account for positional need, value-based drafting tendencies, and natural randomness. No two mocks will play out the same way.
Yes. If you have saved custom rankings, the draft board will reflect your personal player order. Build your rankings first on the Rankings page, then start a mock and your board will be sorted to match.
Draft picks are tracked and contribute to our live ADP calculations. If you are logged in, your draft history is associated with your account for future reference.
Build and customize your own player rankings.
Go to the Rankings page. Players are loaded in default ADP order. From there, drag and drop players to rearrange them, use the arrow buttons to move players up or down, or filter by position to rank within a specific group. Hit "Save Rankings" when you are done.
Yes. Use the position filter tabs at the top of the rankings page to view and rank players by QB, RB, WR, TE, or view all positions together.
Yes. There is a CSV export option on the rankings page. This lets you download your custom rankings as a spreadsheet for use outside the site.
Track your player exposures across all your drafts.
The Portfolio Tracker lets you log your draft entries and see your overall player exposure rates. It helps you understand which players you are heavily invested in and where you might want to diversify.
On the Portfolio Tracker page, use the "Add Team" option to create a new entry. Search for and select the players on your roster. Your exposure percentages update automatically as you add more teams.
Exposure percentage shows what share of your total drafts include a specific player. If you have 10 teams and a player is on 4 of them, that is 40% exposure. This helps you manage risk and avoid being too concentrated on any single player.
