Crown the Maniac ("Contest") is organized and administered by Best Ball Maniacs ("Sponsor"), accessible at bestballmaniacs.com.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. The Contest is free to enter and open to all eligible participants.
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Best Ball Maniacs and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law. Participants must have a verified Best Ball Maniacs account with a valid email address.
The Contest entry period begins when Contest Mode is made available on the site and ends at the posted nomination deadline, typically the Wednesday before NFL Week 1 of the applicable season. All entries must be submitted and nominated before the deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.
Complete a mock draft using Contest Mode on Best Ball Maniacs. You may complete as many contest drafts as you wish, but you must nominate exactly one (1) roster as your official entry before the lock deadline. If no nomination is made, your most recent contest draft will be auto-nominated. Once nominated, entries are final and may not be changed, swapped, or withdrawn.
One (1) nominated entry per person, per verified account. Creating multiple accounts to submit additional entries is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification of all entries associated with the participant.
Rosters are scored using half-PPR best ball scoring as detailed in the "Half-PPR Scoring" section above. Auto-optimized lineups (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX) are calculated each week. Scoring covers NFL regular season Weeks 1 through 17. Week 18 is excluded. The participant with the highest cumulative score at the end of the scoring period wins. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker is: (a) highest single-week score, then (b) earliest nomination timestamp. Sponsor's determination of winners is final and binding.

Prizes will be paid via Venmo, PayPal, or digital gift card (winner's choice) within fourteen (14) days of the conclusion of the scoring period. No prize substitution or transfer permitted except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes on prize winnings.
Winners will be notified via the email address associated with their Best Ball Maniacs account within seven (7) days of the final scoring period. Winners must respond and claim their prize within fourteen (14) days of notification. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture of the prize, which may be awarded to the next highest-scoring participant at Sponsor's discretion.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: (a) creates multiple accounts; (b) uses automated tools, bots, or scripts to gain an unfair advantage; (c) tampers with the operation of the Contest; (d) violates these Official Rules; or (e) acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; (b) technical failures, including server outages, data corruption, or connectivity issues; (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of entries; (d) injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance of a prize. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates from any and all liability arising from or related to the Contest.
Scoring is based on official NFL statistics. Stat corrections issued by official NFL data providers within forty-eight (48) hours of the conclusion of an NFL game will be reflected in contest scoring. No adjustments will be made after the stat correction window closes.
Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest at any time for any reason, including but not limited to events beyond Sponsor's control (NFL lockout, force majeure, etc.). If the Contest is cancelled before completion, prizes may be awarded based on standings at the time of cancellation, prorated at Sponsor's discretion.
Information collected from participants is subject to Sponsor's privacy practices. Participant email addresses will be used solely for Contest-related communications and will not be sold or shared with third parties. Leaderboard display will show usernames only; no personal information will be publicly disclosed without consent.
This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Contest shall be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law. By entering, participants agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts located within the United States.
